2D motion designer
We are looking for an experienced motion designer or animation studio to create a clear, engaging explainer animation about our circular activities. The company processes contaminated mineral waste streams. Through depollution, separation and treatment, we recover valuable mineral resources and aggregates. These recovered materials can then be reused in new applications, including circular concrete and high-quality aggregate mixtures. This is a technical process, but the animation must make it easy to understand for a general audience without prior knowledge of waste processing, construction materials or the circular economy. The animation will initially be presented on 3 October 2026. Afterwards, it will also be used on our website, during company presentations and at events. The story we want to tell: The animation should clearly show the transition from waste to a valuable new construction material: - Contaminated mineral waste materials arrive at our site. - The materials are inspected, washed, treated and separated. - Contaminants and unwanted fractions are removed. - Valuable minerals, sand and aggregates are recovered. -These secondary raw materials are processed into new, high-quality products. - The recovered materials are reused in circular concrete and aggregate mixtures. - This reduces waste, limits the need for landfill and preserves primary natural resources. The exact script and visual scenario will be developed together with the selected freelancer. We will provide technical information, process descriptions, photographs, videos and feedback from our internal experts. The tone should be professional and credible, but also accessible, visual and engaging. The result should help an average visitor understand within a short time what we do and why it matters. Preferred style: See Reference projects: - https://frano.no/fakta-om-prosjektet/ - https://youtu.be/75St6sC0qTI These examples are intended as inspiration. We are not looking for an exact copy. Expected duration Approximately 60 to 90 seconds. We are open to recommendations if a slightly different duration would communicate the story more effectively. Scope and deliverables The assignment should preferably include: Creative concept and visual direction Development or refinement of the script Storyboard Custom illustrations and visual assets 2D animation and motion design Sound design and royalty-free background music Subtitles Two review and correction rounds Final video in high-resolution MP4 format A version suitable for our website and presentations Transfer of the necessary commercial usage rights Timing The animation must be completely finished and approved before 3 October 2026. Our preferred schedule is: Kick-off: as soon as possible First concept and storyboard: end of August or beginning of September First animated version: early September Final delivery: no later than 20 September 2026 Please only apply if you can realistically meet this deadline.
