ABA Intake Coordinator – CentralReach Experience Required | Remote | $20–$24/hr

About the Role
StarLight ABA is a growing multi-state ABA therapy company looking for an experienced Intake Coordinator to own the referral-to-active-client process. You’ll be the first point of contact for families reaching out for services — the person who makes sure a child who needs ABA actually gets to their first session. This is a role with real ownership. You manage your pipeline, work directly with families and payers, and see the outcome of your work in kids starting services. What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming ABA referrals and intake applications from first contact through onboarding
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility; coordinate prior authorizations
- Track referrals, documentation, and client onboarding in CentralReach
- Follow up with families and keep them moving through the intake process
- Coordinate with BCBAs, clinical teams, and insurance payers
- Maintain accurate records and flag issues that could delay a start date
Requirements
- CentralReach experience (required) — this role runs on it daily
- Previous ABA intake experience (required) — ABA intake differs meaningfully from general medical intake
- Working knowledge of insurance verification, Medicaid, authorizations, and eligibility checks
- Experience communicating with families and insurance companies
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; comfortable managing multiple referrals at once
- Reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace
