Accounting Clerk I

Benefits: Paid time off 401(k) About the Role: Trucking/Broker company looking for a full-time accounting clerk to assist with daily department tasks, such as but not limited to AR and AP. Must be available for Office hours. Responsibilities: Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with reconciling daily, weekly, and monthly financial records and statements Maintain accurate and organized financial files and documentation Support the accounting team with data entry and general ledger maintenance Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end close processes Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be bilingual - Spanish 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical finance role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Trucking experience is a plus.
