Position: AI Forward Deployed Engineer Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Experience: 15+ Years Contract Duration: 12+ Months Looking only EST Candidates Mortgage and Lending Domain Experience is Must Job Summary We are seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who combines strong technical architecture expertise with hands-on software engineering and Agentic AI implementation experience. The ideal candidate will work directly with customers to understand mortgage business challenges and deliver production-ready AI solutions, owning the full lifecycle from discovery and architecture through coding, integration, testing, deployment, and production go-live. Candidates should have strong experience building enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI applications, integrating AI agents with business systems, and delivering scalable solutions in cloud environments. Experience in the U.S. mortgage or lending industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with customers to understand business requirements, technical challenges, and AI opportunities. Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and end-to-end implementation of Agentic AI solutions. Design and develop multi-agent systems using RAG, tool calling, memory, and MCP integrations. Write production-quality code using Python, Java, and/or Node.js. Design full-stack solutions integrating React.js, TypeScript, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise applications. Build and integrate AI solutions with existing business systems, workflows, and third-party platforms. Deploy and manage AI applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Own the solution lifecycle from requirements gathering and prototyping through testing, deployment, and production go-live. Implement AI evaluation, guardrails, security controls, observability, and governance practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and customer leadership to ensure successful delivery. Identify opportunities for business process improvement, automation, ROI optimization, and technology modernization. Required Qualifications 10+ years of overall experience in technical/solution architecture, software engineering, or principal/lead engineering roles. Recent, hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions in production environments . Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or Node.js. Experience with enterprise, solution, or full-stack architecture and application development. Hands-on experience with RAG, multi-agent systems, tool calling, memory, and MCP integrations. Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proven customer-facing experience in technical discovery, solution design, architecture discussions, and delivery. Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise APIs, data sources, and business systems. Demonstrated ownership of solutions from requirements through production deployment and go-live. Preferred Technical Skills Agentic AI Frameworks: LangGraph, Google ADK, AWS Strands, Langflow. AI Engineering: RAG, multi-agent orchestration, MCP, tool calling, memory, and agent integrations. Full-Stack Development: React.js, TypeScript, APIs, and backend application development. Production AI: Agent evaluation, guardrails, observability, security, and AI governance. Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP. Responsible AI: NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO 42001, and related governance practices. Business Optimization: Business process re-engineering, ROI analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Mortgage and Lending Domain Experience Experience in the U.S. mortgage or lending industry is highly desirable, particularly in: Mortgage origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing. Loan origination systems (LOS) and point-of-sale (POS) platforms. Mortgage workflow automation and enterprise system integrations. Applying AI to mortgage operations, document processing, and lending workflows. Candidates with direct LOS/POS integration experience and a strong understanding of mortgage business processes will receive priority consideration.
