AI Infrastructure Engineer
AI Infrastructure Engineer Location: 100% Remote – US Duration: 6-Month Contract We're looking for an experienced AI Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation, troubleshooting, and validation of large-scale AI and GPU infrastructure. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Monitor infrastructure health, including Linux nodes, GPU availability, cluster services, and schedulers. Troubleshoot Linux, SLURM, GPU, networking, and storage issues. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Differentiate infrastructure issues from workload or testing failures. Improve monitoring, diagnostics, automation, and operational runbooks. 🔹 Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or production operations. Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with SLURM and HPC/GPU cluster operations. Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting. Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager. Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills. 🔹 Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GPU telemetry and SLURM metrics. Bare-metal cluster provisioning and management. Knowledge of InfiniBand, RoCE, NVLink/NVSwitch, or parallel storage. Experience supporting cluster validation and customer deployments.
