Education Requirement - Bachelor s Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Or related field Minimum Experience required: 10 15+ years Role Type: Technical Leadership / Hands-on Engineering Role Summary We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Architect / Engineering Lead who started their career in software engineering and has grown into building and leading AI solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing enterprise AI/GenAI platforms from the ground up, along with strong software architecture, cloud, and platform engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build enterprise AI/GenAI platforms that support AI applications and intelligent agents. Develop scalable AI services, APIs, model integrations, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. Establish platform standards for security, monitoring, testing, reliability, and responsible AI usage. Work with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Lead architecture decisions, review code, and remain hands-on with development. Guide, mentor, and grow an engineering team while collaborating with product, data science, and security teams. Required Skills Experience: 10 15+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, distributed systems, or infrastructure, including technical leadership. Programming: Strong Python skills plus Java, Go, or TypeScript. AI/GenAI: Hands-on experience building production AI/GenAI platforms, LLM integrations, RAG, or agent-based systems. AI Platform Engineering: Experience with model gateways, prompt/agent management, AI evaluation, monitoring, and governance. Cloud & DevOps: Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Architecture: Experience designing secure, scalable, reliable enterprise platforms and APIs. Leadership: Ability to make technical decisions, mentor engineers, and work with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building AI platforms from scratch rather than only maintaining existing systems. Experience in large enterprises, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries. Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, auditability, cost management, and responsible AI practices. Familiarity with tools such as LiteLLM, Langfuse, Arize, OpenTelemetry, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). Ideal Candidate A senior software engineer who has transitioned into AI platform architecture and can both design and build production-grade GenAI infrastructure. The candidate should combine strong coding skills, enterprise architecture experience, and the ability to lead a growing engineering team.
