Anti-Money Laundering Quality Assurance

Job Title: AML QA Duration: 3+ months (potential to extend) Location: 100% Remote JOB SUMMARY: Roles & Responsibilities Review completed AML investigation cases for accuracy and completeness . Independently research customer and transaction information to verify the investigator's findings. Check that all relevant AML risk factors and red flags were addressed. Review supporting documentation and the investigator's SAR narrative . Determine whether the final case disposition is reasonable and properly supported. Identify errors or missing information and provide QA feedback to investigators. Make sure investigators correct all issues identified during the review. Analyze transaction activity for unusual or suspicious patterns. Help maintain QA production and quality targets. Stay current with AML typologies, regulations, and internal procedures , particularly around correspondent banking and wealth management. Must-Have Experience The strongest candidates should have: 5+ years of AML experience in financial services. 3–5+ years of AML Transaction Monitoring investigations . Hands-on SAR writing/narrative experience . Experience with AML QA, second-level review, or investigator oversight .
