Application Architect

JOB TITLE: Application Architect Scope of Services - Develop the overall application architecture, including the design and implementation of new systems and the evolution of existing systems. - Provide technical leadership to development teams, including guidance on design and development best practices. - Ensure alignment of application systems with LADOTD overall technology strategy and business goals. - Collaborate with LADOTD stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to define and prioritize application requirements. - Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. - Mentor and train development teams on new technologies and best practices. Mandatory Expertise / Experience - Ten (10)+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in: - Data Management Systems - Workflow and process automation - Security best practices including auditing - Application architecture and design - Technical Leadership Desirable Expertise / Experience - Prior experience developing state applications or working within regulated public-sector environments. - Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor.
