Athlete Sales Development Intern

Open Role: Unpaid Internship Electro is a fast-growing sports nutrition brand and the maker of the first functional electrolyte chewing gum. We have built a community of college athlete ambassadors and professional partners across major leagues. Please note that this is an unpaid internship. This is a business development role focused on athlete partnerships: you will source, pitch, follow up with, and close NIL deals with college athletes. This internship is eligible for academic credit. We will work with your school so it counts toward course credit, internship credit, or graduation requirements, and we will complete any paperwork, evaluations, or hour logs your university needs. Ideal Candidate Strong written English and communication skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote startup environment. Comfortable initiating professional conversations with new contacts. Basic understanding of NIL agreements (training is provided). High attention to detail and reliability.

What You Will Do

Track every lead, conversation, and deal stage in our CRM and report on weekly pipeline numbers. Run outbound outreach and follow-up sequences, and move athletes from first message to signed partnership. Build targeted lists of college athletes by school, sport, and conference. Represent the brand professionally and positively in every communication. Support athlete-created social content featuring the brand. Support NIL agreements from initial outreach to signed partnership. Recruit new athlete partners and guide them through onboarding.
