Backend Engineer (Logistics)
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build backend services and logistics integrations for our platforms, including an e-commerce platform for our cold crypto wallets.Responsibilities
Tech Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, AWS SNS/SQS
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
- Build integrations with logistics providers, including shipping, tracking, fulfillment, and webhooks.
- Use AI-assisted development as part of the engineering workflow, with strong validation through code review and automated tests.
- Design reliable asynchronous workflows with AWS SNS/SQS, including retries, DLQs, and idempotent processing.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries, transactions, and data models.
- Own features end-to-end: from specification and API contracts to implementation, testing, and production.
Requirements
- Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong NestJS experience.
- Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations and webhooks.
- Solid understanding of AWS SNS/SQS and asynchronous systems.
- Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills.
- Experience with spec-driven, AI-assisted development.
- Strong engineering judgment and ownership.
Nice to have
- Logistics or e-commerce experience.
- Observability experience.
- Familiarity with DDD or hexagonal architecture.
