Experience with Facilitating creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions (8+ years). Experience with Participating in and providing guidance to business in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities (5+ years). Experience with Snowflake (2+ years) Experience with Power BI (2+ years). Preferred: Experience with Oil and Gas industry (2+ years). Responsibilities: Gather, develop, and document requirements for complex emerging technology hardware and software projects supporting the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort at the Railroad Commission of Texas. Review, assess, and develop business processes using multiple methods, applying accepted business analysis methodologies to ensure consistent quality in deliverables and materials. Perform data analysis and root cause analysis of data errors, including documenting data flows across the report and extract effort. Design and develop reports using Power BI and Snowflake, with knowledge and background in data publishing. Create and validate user acceptance testing (UAT) for the projects. Publish data on the DIR Open Data Portal or the RRC website. Provide research and special project support to users, and assign or supervise the work of others as needed, while working under limited supervision with latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
