Business Development Manager

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

OM Performance Marketing is a digital marketing agency with one focus: Make great dental care easier to find. We execute a multi-channel marketing: Paid search, paid social, SEO, and conversion-built websites and landing pages for everything from solo practices to 100+ location dental groups. One industry means a real playbook instead of starting from scratch on every account, benchmarks most agencies don't have, and pattern recognition that compounds across the portfolio. Our commitment is to provide technical marketing expertise and full-stack execution.

Job Description

We’re growing fast in the dental marketing space - bringing modern, SaaS-level execution to an industry that’s been stuck in the past. The opportunity is wide open, and we’re looking for people who can move fast, execute hard, and help us capture it. The Business Development Manager role is designed for an early-career sales professional with experience selling to dental practices who is eager to develop into a confident, independent sales producer. We're looking for someone who is curious, coachable, organized, and motivated to build a career in consultative sales. You'll work closely with our leadership team, gaining hands-on experience with inbound and partner-referred opportunities. Initially, you'll receive support during discovery conversations while taking increasing ownership of prospect communications, follow-up, proposals, and closing. Our goal is for you to independently manage the full sales process within six months.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound and partner-driven leads, including qualification and timely follow-up. Research prospective dental practices to understand their business needs and growth opportunities. Participate in discovery calls with dentists, office managers, and group leadership, progressing toward independently leading these conversations. Learn to articulate OM's value in a way that resonates with dental-specific challenges and goals. Progressively take ownership of qualified sales opportunities, including discovery, follow-up, proposals, and closing, with coaching and support from leadership. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, notes, and activity records in HubSpot. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and onboarding experiences. Support outbound prospecting initiatives and business development efforts. Identify patterns, objections, and opportunities to improve sales messaging and processes. Support and participate in trade events and conference events Develop the skills and confidence to independently manage sales opportunities within six months.

Qualifications

Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence engaging directly with dentists and practice decision-makers in professional sales conversations. Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and improve. Competitive mindset and desire to grow professionally. Coachable, adaptable, and energized by feedback. Experience with HubSpot or another CRM platform is a plus, but not required. Experience At least 1 year of sales or business development experience within the dental industry, including direct conversations with dentists or dental practice decision-makers. Experience in marketing, SaaS, or services-based sales preferred. Experience progressing sales opportunities through the pipeline; previous independent closing experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Base Salary: $48,000 annually On-Target Commission: $32,000 annually On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 annually Uncapped Commission: Opportunity to earn beyond target based on sales performance.

Benefits

Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Telehealth and Supplemental Retirement planning: 401k/Roth 401k Flexible, fully remote work environment Early employee at a fast-growing company with a big vision for the future Unlimited vacation days Paid continuing education We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
