Our commitment to responsive communication, dependable execution, and quality control has helped us build lasting client relationships. As we continue expanding our national presence, we’re seeking experienced Business Development Representatives to help grow our client portfolio. The Opportunity We’re looking for motivated, results-driven professionals who understand how to identify business opportunities, establish relationships with decision-makers, and convert those relationships into active, revenue-generating accounts. This is an independent contractor opportunity designed for individuals who are comfortable managing their own business development activities and earning compensation based on results. You focus on developing the business. We handle the signing operations. Once an account is established, ELH manages signing coordination, notary assignments, scheduling, and operational quality control, allowing you to concentrate on client acquisition and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with title companies, escrow offices, mortgage lenders, law firms, and other organizations requiring notary signing services. Prospect and engage decision-makers through professional networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email, telephone outreach, and other appropriate business development channels. Present ELH Document Services’ capabilities, service offerings, and competitive advantages to prospective clients. Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective accounts. Convert prospective clients into active accounts that regularly utilize ELH’s services. Build and maintain productive relationships with assigned or self-developed client accounts. Coordinate with ELH leadership to facilitate new client onboarding and a smooth transition to signing operations. Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, client communications, and account development progress. Identify opportunities to expand business volume within established accounts. Represent ELH Document Services professionally and uphold our standards for communication, integrity, and client service. Candidate Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in business development, B2B sales, account acquisition, or relationship-based sales. Proven ability to identify prospects, engage decision-makers, and successfully secure new business. Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Ability to independently manage prospecting activities, sales pipelines, and client relationships. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a performance-based, commission-only environment. Professional judgment and a commitment to ethical business practices. Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively using standard business technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with title companies, escrow agencies, mortgage lenders, real estate brokerages, law firms, or related professional service organizations. Established professional relationships with decision-makers in the title, mortgage, real estate, or legal industries. Familiarity with real estate closings, loan signing services, or notary signing operations. Previous success developing accounts that generate recurring business. Experience managing a territory or independent sales portfolio. An established industry network is a strong advantage, but candidates must also demonstrate the ability to prospect, develop, and close new business independently. Compensation & Contractor Structure This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no base salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed compensation. Representatives earn commissions on eligible closed signing files generated by the accounts they develop. Our commission structure is designed to reward both successful account acquisition and sustained client relationships. Representatives may continue earning commissions on eligible closed files as long as their developed accounts remain active, continue generating eligible business, and the representative remains contracted with ELH, subject to the independent contractor agreement. Specific commission percentages, eligibility requirements, payment terms, and account attribution provisions will be discussed with qualified candidates and documented in the contractor agreement. Representatives determine their own work schedules and methods of prospecting, consistent with their independent contractor agreement and applicable requirements. What ELH Provides An established national notary signing service and signing agent network. Operational support for scheduling, notary assignments, signing coordination, and quality control. A broad range of signing services to present to prospective clients. Leadership support with service capabilities, pricing discussions, and account onboarding. The opportunity to develop accounts nationwide without being limited to a single geographic territory. An ongoing commission opportunity tied to eligible business generated by developed accounts. Who Will Succeed in This Role? The strongest candidates will be professionals who understand that business development is more than collecting contacts or making introductions. They know how to identify a client’s needs, communicate value, earn trust, secure business, and maintain relationships that produce results. We’re especially interested in individuals who already understand the title, mortgage, real estate, or legal services marketplace and can confidently engage the professionals who make vendor and service-provider decisions. We’re looking for relationship builders who can turn opportunities into revenue and help us establish lasting partnerships.
