Clinical Support Staff
Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking detail-oriented and compassionate Clinical Support Staff to join their dynamic team. Compensation : $19.00 - $23.00/hour Listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range. This is a remote contract position. Looking for candidates to work either a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule, or Friday-Monday 8am-6pm schedule.
Responsibilities
Coordinate authorization and referral requests in accordance with policies and guidelines. Review and enter clinical and demographic information accurately. Prepare and process member and provider documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems. Communicate with members, providers, and internal teams as needed. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations. Manage multiple priorities while meeting quality and productivity standards. Provide coverage and support for projects as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, utilization management, or health plan operations. Epic experience required. Experience with healthcare documentation, authorizations, referrals, and related systems. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare workflows, and HIPAA requirements. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Comfortable learning new systems and managing multiple priorities.
