Competitive Coder | US$45–US$65/hour | Micro1 contractor opportunity Micro1 is seeking competitive programming experts to create reinforcement learning environments that test AI models on complex coding problems. Contributors create original problems absent from existing online judges, reference solutions and robust test suites. Responsibilities include building robust checkers for problems with multiple valid outputs; validating submissions against complex problem statements; clarifying ambiguous requirements with the customer’s team; maintaining C++ checker code; and documenting edge cases and test improvements. Micro1 is looking for expertise in competitive programming, advanced C++, careful analysis of constraints and multiple solution paths, clear technical communication, and meticulous code-validation skills. Experience setting, testing or checking problems on major competitive programming platforms is preferred. Engagement: Independent contractor, remote, 15 or more hours per week. Micro1 advertises US$45–$65/hour. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Completion time varies with experience and workflow; minimum weekly task submissions apply. The advertised hourly range is not a guaranteed hourly wage.
