Construction Estimator: Pilot Partner (Unpaid, SaaS Startup)
About Flow Flow is preconstruction software built for commercial general contractor estimators. We’re building one workspace where takeoff, pricing, and proposals flow together without re-entering numbers between steps, with an AI assistant that works for the estimator so you’re not carrying every bid alone. We’re looking for a small group of experienced estimators to be our first pilot partners and help shape the product before it reaches the wider market. The Role This is an unpaid pilot partner role. You won’t be an employee or contractor. You’ll be one of our earliest users, getting full access to Flow for free in exchange for using it on real work and telling us honestly what works and what doesn’t. It’s remote, part-time, and built around your schedule, usually a few hours a week over a two to three month pilot. What You’ll Do Use Flow on real (or past) bids and compare it against how you’d normally get there Share plan sets you’ve worked on so we can test against real-world conditions Test new features as they ship and tell us where they help or get in the way Give direct feedback on workflow, layout, and the decisions that matter on bid day Join short working sessions with our product and engineering team Who We’re Looking For 3+ years of commercial estimating experience Deep familiarity with the tools and workflows estimators actually use day to day Strong opinions about what slows estimators down and costs GCs money Comfortable giving clear, specific, honest feedback Nice to have: experience with tools like Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or CostX What You Get Real influence on the product. Your workflow and feedback directly shape how Flow is designed and built. Free access to Flow during the pilot, plus early access to new features before anyone else. Room to grow with us.
