Construction Scheduler (Remote)
Promac Consulting is seeking a Project Controls Engineer / Construction Scheduler to support our growing organization. This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate is self-driven, technically strong in CPM scheduling, and comfortable supporting field and project management teams in a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare baseline schedules, periodic updates, and recovery schedules
- Perform critical path, float, and logic analysis
- Prepare schedule narratives and executive progress reports
- Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors
- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support change management and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs)
- Ensure schedule compliance with contract requirements and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
- Experience supporting energy, power, industrial, or heavy civil projects
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI-SP or PSP certification
- Experience with cost-loaded schedules and earned value management
- Experience supporting schedule recovery, TIAs, or claims analysis
- Prior experience working with field teams on large infrastructure projects
