Crane OperatorPosition at TMR RoofingPosition Identification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Foreman Position Summary:Operate, maintain, and inspect crane and rigs for construction projects as assigned.Job Functions:Coordinating with dispatch for job assignmentsOperating and maintaining the craneInspecting crane and riggingReading and analyzing lift plansCompleting all paperwork for payroll, billing, maintenance, and safety in a timely mannerAbility to operate and maintain the crane in a safe mannerKnowledge, Skills & Experience (Necessary):Class B commercial driver's licenseNCCCO telescopic boom crane fixed cab certificationKnowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):Preference for High School Graduate2-4 years' experienceOccupational Health and Safety:Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk controlActive participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safetyIdentification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplaceWorking Conditions: Physical surroundings : Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature. Physical Effort : Walking, turning, stooping and reaching for and carrying materials, stepping over and around obstacles, climbing ladders and scaffolding. Ability to lift over 25 lbs. on a regular basis. Must hear well enough to understand oral directions. Must see to read forms, labels, directions, prints, and specifications. Travel : Report to same home office - travel will be from job site to job site daily.
