Data Fabric Architect

This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Duration: 6+ Months Contract Location: Dallas, TX Salary: $90.00/Hourly Role: Data Fabric Architect Primary Skills: Data Fabric Architect, Synapse, Azure Data, Data Factory, Dataflows, Azure Data, Fabric Role Description: The Data Fabric Architect must have 2-5+ years of experience. Must Have Skills: - Data Fabric Architect, Synapse, Azure Data, Data Factory, Dataflows, Azure Data, Fabric. Required Qualifications: - Hands-on, senior-level expertise building and operating Microsoft Fabric ETL solutions (Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2) ? a core ETL background, not primarily Power BI/reporting. - Microsoft Certifications: DP-600 (Fabric) DP-203 (Azure Data Engineering) AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) - Proven experience designing SDLC and promotion lifecycles (dev?UAT?production) for Fabric workspaces. - Deep knowledge of Fabric's workspace configuration model: tenant settings, security/permissions, and cross-workspace data access. - Comfortable working directly and iteratively alongside client Network/Systems Admin teams in a pairing, over-the-shoulder model. - Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts in Fabric (Git integration, deployment pipelines, metadata-driven promotion) sufficient to architect for future enablement. - Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, to inform migration planning into Fabric. - Strong architecture and design instincts ? composable, modular, reusable framework patterns. - Able to operate independently with minimal ramp-up in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Banking or financial services experience in regulated data environments. - Prior experience in large-scale cloud data warehouse migrations. - Experience mentoring or leading technical pods as engagement scope expands. - Trajectory toward a senior architect/engineering lead role, given the potential to grow into DM3's broader Phase Zero scope. Education: Bachelor?s degree in computer science or any IT related field.
