About the Role
Excellence Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist to help scale its infrastructure from thousands to millions of concurrent users. The role involves working with data science tools, developing and maintaining technical systems, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver features. This remote position offers a salary range of $56,000–$85,000, ongoing coaching, dedicated learning time, and the option of a four-day flexible workweek.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve and deliver Seaborn-related fixes for Excellence Consulting customers Manage and maintain the XGBoost subsystem Collaborate with product and design teams to develop and deliver features from concept to completion Integrate Excel events into the Seaborn pipeline used for technology reports Improve prompt engineering processes and address existing technical debt Contribute to infrastructure improvements that support growth in concurrent users Required Qualifications and Skills At least one year of experience with adaptability Curiosity about customer behavior and the reasons behind customer decisions Ability to collaborate with colleagues, support team members, and share credit Comfort taking ownership of measurable outcomes and performance metrics Strong listening and communication skills Location and Work Arrangement Remote position Excellence Consulting is based in Surprise, Arizona
