Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Systems Administrator to support a large enterprise hosting environment. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on maintaining stable, highly available database and server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. *This role is Fully Remote* Responsibilities: Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments Manage database/server provisioning, access, authentication, and authorization Perform backups, restores, disaster recovery, upgrades, and system maintenance Troubleshoot Windows and Linux server/database issues and handle escalations Support a large-scale environment of servers and databases Install and configure SQL Server as needed Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related field 5+ years of SQL Server database administration and operational support 5+ years of Windows and Linux infrastructure administration Strong backup/restore, disaster recovery, provisioning, and access management experience Experience supporting multiple RDBMS platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL Nice to Have: Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ODI, OID, or Oracle Cloud Control Higher education experience, including Ellucian Banner or similar ERP/SIS platforms
