DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Positions: 2 Location: Remote Employment Type: W2 / 1099 Experience: 5+ Years Azure Certification: Mandatory Job Summary We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure, CI/CD automation, application deployments, and production support. The ideal candidate should have experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines and automating engineering processes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. Must have an active/relevant Microsoft Azure certification. Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services, including: Azure Functions Azure App Service Azure Networking Azure Key Vault Experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines. Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines. Experience supporting release activities and coordinating deployments with development and infrastructure teams. Experience supporting production deployments involving infrastructure, .NET, and/or Maven/Java applications. Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash. Working knowledge of application development and troubleshooting across technologies such as: C#/.NET Java Node.js TypeScript Good understanding of CI/CD principles, source control, automation, and Agile delivery practices. Ability to troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes. Exposure to GitOps, preferably Argo CD. Understanding of Canary and Blue/Green deployment strategies. Exposure to GCP. Working knowledge of Terraform and YAML. Experience in a SAFe Agile environment. Exposure to: Kafka GraphQL Temporal LaunchDarkly SonarQube Backstage Exposure to mobile application release processes.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Automate application and infrastructure deployment processes. Support Azure PaaS environments. Participate in production release activities and deployment coordination. Deploy and troubleshoot .NET, Java/Maven, and infrastructure components. Develop scripts to automate deployment and operational tasks. Troubleshoot pipeline and production deployment issues. Support containerized applications and Kubernetes environments. Collaborate with developers, QA, cloud engineers, and release teams. Follow DevOps and Agile practices to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
