Digital Journalist - Entry Level, Full Time

This is a full-time role where you'll develop as a digital journalist across multiple platforms, learning to shoot video, write compelling stories, engage on social media, and work as part of a collaborative newsroom team. In this role, you'll work on-site at our newsroom location, where you'll have access to professional tools and equipment, including cameras, video editing software, and live broadcast capabilities. You'll learn from experienced colleagues in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to quality journalism. We welcome candidates with or without prior experience. Whether you hold a degree in journalism or a related field, or you're coming in fresh and ready to learn, we'll provide the guidance and training you need to succeed. What you'll do
- Develop and pitch story ideas
- Gather information through interviews and research
- Write clear, engaging news copy
