Develop and implement strategic plans for the billing and funding operations to support the financial success of the organization. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the billing and funding department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Monitor and analyze billing and funding processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to healthcare billing and funding, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement effective billing and funding processes and procedures. Manage and lead a team of billing and funding professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, government agencies, and other funding sources to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Conduct regular audits and reviews of billing and funding activities to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Prepare and present reports on billing and funding operations to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
