CAD Drafter Fremont, CA | Alvin, TX | Remote availability Join NBI and help bring complex boiler and steam plant projects to life. We're looking for a skilled CAD Drafter/Designer with experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, and controls systems to create high-quality engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Vault, and Inventor.

What You'll Do

Create and revise detailed CAD drawings for boiler, steam, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Develop equipment layouts, P&IDs, piping drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and structural details. Prepare fabrication, installation, construction, and customer submittal drawings. Support engineering and project teams by producing accurate, high-quality documentation for industrial power and steam projects. Maintain CAD standards, drawing files, and document control systems. Stay current with CAD software and industry drafting best practices. Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. What You Bring 3-5 years of CAD drafting/design experience. Experience with boiler and steam plant systems required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vault, and Inventor. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings. AA Degree or Certificate in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
