EDI Specialist - Remote

This is a newly created, fully remote role where you'll step in as the go-to EDI Specialist, shaping processes that directly impact Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Billing.What makes this role unique :employees here stay for the long term -- many for 10, 15, even 20 years -- because the culture emphasizes respect, stability, and real career longevity.As the EDI Specialist, you'll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, the challenge of building out an essential function, and the chance to make a visible difference every day in a company that values its people.What you'll doMonitor and triage daily EDI transactions; investigate and resolve exceptions from customer and warehouse EDI, escalating only when neededLead onboarding of new trading partners and 3PLs, and manage changes to existing connectionsWork directly in Microsoft NAV, iTrade, TrueCommerce (Foundry), and customer portals to manage mappings, configurations, and transaction flowCollaborate with internal teams (Billing, AR / Credit, IT) and external partners to ensure seamless order, ASN, invoice, and warehouse document flowsMaintain process documentation, partner specifications, and exception handling playbooksTrack metrics around issues, resolutions, and cycle times while identifying opportunities for improvements and automationCoordinate with NAV / BC developer resources when code changes are required; this is not a developer roleSupport a future transition from Microsoft NAV to Business Central, ensuring EDI processes adapt and scale with the changeWhat you'll bring3years in an EDI operations role with hands-on responsibility for transactions and partner onboardingStrong working knowledge of Microsoft NAV and / or Business Central preferredExperience with TrueCommerce (Foundry) and iTrade portal highly valuableUnderstanding of order-to-cash EDI flows (e.g., 850 / 855 / 856 / 810) and warehouse / 3PL integrationsProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues independently and effectivelyStrong organizational skills, with the ability to document, track, and communicate processes and resolutionsNice to have :experience in fast-growth environments, acquisitions, or multi-warehouse networks. Experience: 3 years required
