Fighter Pilot Position: Fighter Pilot Type: Contractor Compensation: $40–$80/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity We are seeking current or former military Fighter Pilots and Weapons Systems Officers (WSOs) to contribute their operational expertise to an AI development project focused on military aviation, operational assessment, and tactical decision-making. In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated military scenarios, assess tactical accuracy and operational realism, and provide expert feedback to improve AI systems' reasoning and reliability. Your practical experience in military aviation, mission planning, and weapons systems will help ensure that AI-generated outputs reflect sound operational judgment and established military procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated scenarios involving fighter aviation, combat operations, and tactical decision-making. Assess the accuracy and realism of mission planning, air-to-air and air-to-ground operations, and weapons employment. Review AI-generated responses for operational accuracy, sound reasoning, and consistency with military procedures and Rules of Engagement. Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in AI-generated military assessments. Provide clear, structured written feedback grounded in real-world operational experience. Apply professional judgment to assess complex military aviation scenarios and operational decisions. Help improve the reliability and quality of AI-generated military aviation content through expert evaluation.
Required Qualifications
Current or former military Fighter Pilot or Weapons Systems Officer (WSO). Strong knowledge of military aviation tactics, mission planning, and weapons systems. Experience in operational missions, tactical training, or combat deployments. Familiarity with military procedures and Rules of Engagement. Ability to communicate complex military concepts clearly and accurately in writing. Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and tactical decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating aircraft such as the F-16, F/A-18, F-15, F-35, A-10, or comparable fighter aircraft. Graduation from a Weapons School or equivalent advanced tactical training program. Experience as an instructor pilot or combat mission leader. Demonstrated expertise in evaluating operational scenarios and assessing tactical effectiveness.
