We’re looking for a Temporary File Clerk to join our team for a 4–6 month project. You’ll play an important role in helping us transition our records from an alphanumeric filing system to a numeric medical records system, while keeping information accurate, organized, and secure. What You’ll Do - Help convert and reorganize files from an alphanumeric system to a numeric medical records filing system. - File, scan, organize, and retrieve member records and documents. - Enter and update information accurately. - Process incoming and returned mail. - Prepare files for storage or shredding. - Help with general office and clerical tasks. - Support other teams and projects as needed. - Ability to work within the contiguous United States (known as the 48 U.S. states that share a border and the District of Columbia). It excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. territories, such as Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and the Northern Mariana Islands. What You’ll Bring - High school diploma or GED. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good organizational and time-management skills. - Comfortable working in a busy, team-focused environment. - Basic Microsoft Office and data-entry skills. - Reliable, motivated, and willing to pitch in where needed. - At this time, HFI will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization). - Our Massachusetts based starting hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.00-$21.00 per hour.
