Freight Agent
UCW Logistics is seeking experienced and motivated Freight Agent Partners to join our growing network. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, ideal for logistics professionals who want the freedom to operate their own book of business while leveraging the support, infrastructure, and reputation of an established logistics company. As a Freight Agent Partner, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, coordinating shipments, and driving revenue growth. This role offers competitive, performance-based compensation with commissions up to 70%.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a strong portfolio of shippers and customers Source, negotiate, and manage freight shipments across various modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal, etc.) Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery Provide excellent customer service and proactive communication Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise Maintain accurate records of transactions and communicationsGrow your book of business through sales and relationship development

Qualifications
Prior experience as a freight broker, agent, or in logistics sales preferred Existing book of business is highly desirable Strong negotiation and communication skills Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Knowledge of freight market trends and transportation regulations
Compensation
This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position. Earnings are based on performance, with commission splits of up to 70%.
