We are seeking a highly skilled Carrier Manager to handle freight operations, secure truck capacity, and optimize routes. Key Responsibilities
Manage Capacity: Maintain constant contact with owner-operators, dispatchers, and drivers to secure capacity. Negotiate & Price: Execute freight contracts, manage pricing, and provide rapid cost quotes to sales. Grow the Network: Establish new carrier relationships via lead generation, cold calling, and referrals. Resolve Issues: Fast-track solutions for transit and operational problems to maintain top-tier customer service. Streamline Tech: Utilize industry software and portals to track details accurately and minimize errors. Qualifications & Tech Stack Experience: 1–2 years of Freight Brokering (Required), plus 1–2 years each in Carrier Relations and 3PL environments. Skills: Excellent carrier negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills. Required Tech: Proficiency with DAT, Highway, Carrier Assure, and TMS platforms. Preferred Tech: Experience with Turvo or Parade is a major plus.
