About the Role
The Senior Full Stack Software Developer will develop responsive web interfaces, build server-side services, integrate REST APIs, and write efficient Microsoft SQL Server queries. The position requires strong experience across frontend and backend development, with an emphasis on code quality, application performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Working remotely, the developer will collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders on software design, architecture, implementation, and code reviews. Candidates must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis and be U.S. citizens who can obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop frontend user interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript tooling, including Vite. Build and maintain client-side applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Develop and integrate server-side services and REST APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS. Design, write, unit test, and document application code. Write and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, joins, views, and stored procedures to support application features and reporting. Prepare reports, requirements, user stories, and design documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Apply problem-solving and software design skills to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Participate in software design and architecture discussions to address functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the development process. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to support code quality. Required Qualifications 8+ years of software development experience. Strong proficiency in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend development practices. Experience with NodeJS and REST API development, preferably using ExpressJS. Advanced SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server. Proficiency in HTML and CSS for responsive and accessible web development. Proficiency with Git and modern source control workflows. Experience working in a Microsoft Windows development environment. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience. Willingness and ability to work on a W-2 basis. Preferred Qualifications / Requirements Experience with Vite or similar tooling for React applications. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance APIs. Familiarity with automated testing practices and performance optimization. Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra. Familiarity with healthcare or insurance domains and related data standards. Salary & Benefits The hourly pay rate is $60–$70 on a W-2 basis. W-2 consultants are offered a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and life insurance. Work Arrangement Remote position.
