Key Responsibilities
Execute test plans and test cases meticulously to identify and document software defects. Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues have been introduced. Provide detailed feedback on game mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve bugs effectively. Participate in exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases. Maintain clear and concise documentation of all testing activities and findings using designated tools.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar quality assurance role within the gaming industry. Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, consoles, mobile) and testing methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective bug reporting and team interaction. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. A genuine passion for video games and an understanding of game design principles.
