Inside Account Representative
Job Description:
- Oversee day-to-day communication and problem resolution for all assigned customers following handoff from the assigned Military Account Manager
- Partner with the assigned Military Account Manager to secure supplier pricing agreements and obtain and submit customer quotes
- Educate new customers on ordering and registration processes
- Manage customer complaints and issues through timely resolution
- Update the RMS system during quote-to-order status changes
- Follow up regularly with customers on pending orders and additional TLS Program opportunities
- Obtain necessary sign-offs to release orders for invoicing
- Process award notifications in the system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- Military personnel may qualify through former training or relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer-facing, inside, or outside sales position
- Prior experience with military or government customers preferred
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) required
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage customers and vendors, build rapport, and conduct business professionally
- Meticulous and organized, with ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Self-driven and proactive, with accountability and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Team-building, collaboration, and assistance skills
- PC proficiency in CRM software, specifically Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
