The firm handles premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional liability, construction and workplace accidents, and New York Labor Law matters. Both roles below are open now and the firm is interviewing immediately. Location Remote (New York Division), handling New York State and Federal court filings.
Overview
We are a leading insurance defense litigation firm seeking a highly organized and detail oriented paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation and is comfortable managing a high volume caseload in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and motions Assist with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Gather, review, and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other case related documents Maintain and organize case files, discovery databases, and document productions Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, and coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts Conduct legal and factual research as needed Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with filing requirements in New Jersey State and Federal courts Provide general administrative support to attorneys
Minimum Qualifications
