IP Auditor (Full-time and Part-time)
Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking experiencedFull-time and Part-time IP Auditors to join our growing team. This is afully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coding professional with extensive experience in DRG validation, inpatient auditing, and complex inpatient coding.

Position Requirements:
- Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
- CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required
- CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher.
- Previous IP Auditing experience required.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to identify coding opportunities, validate DRG assignment, and provide clear audit findings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Must reside in the United States.
