IT Site Support
IT Site Support Technician Location: Midland, TX Salary Range $65,000–$85,000 Position Overview We are seeking an IT Site Support Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for a manufacturing facility in Midland, TX. This is a great opportunity for an early-career IT professional who is eager to learn, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable working directly with end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote IT support to employees
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, desktop applications, and common end-user issues
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets
- Set up and support PCs, printers, mobile devices, and other equipment
- Provide basic support for MacBooks and iOS/iPhone devices
- Assist with network connectivity and device configuration issues
- Support monthly new-hire onboarding, including equipment distribution and account setup
- Provide guidance and training to employees on IT tools and best practices
Qualifications
- IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related experience;
- Strong working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic familiarity with MacBooks and iOS devices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and follow required safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting users in a manufacturing, industrial, or oil & gas environment
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
Work Environment: This position supports a manufacturing site and may require appropriate PPE, including steel-toe boots, as well as completion of company-provided safety training.
