Java API & UI Automation Test Engineer
Role: Java API & UI Automation Test Engineer(Banking & Financial Services) Location: Remote Job Type: Fulltime Role We are looking for an experienced Java Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in API and UI automation to support a leading banking and financial services client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated API functional tests using Java & REST Assured
- Design and implement automated UI functional tests using Playwright
- Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test scripts
- Develop and execute manual functional, regression, integration & E2E testing
- Create and maintain test cases using Xray / HP ALM
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams
- Perform Java development, debugging, and maintenance using IntelliJ IDEA
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and continuous testing
- Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
