[Responsibilities] - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. - Build event-driven integrations and real-time processing solutions using Apache Kafka. - Create and enhance responsive, performant web applications with React and Next.js. - Design and consume RESTful APIs to power seamless frontend-backend interactions. - Partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-quality software. - Contribute to architecture, technical design, and code reviews. - Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security. - Develop reusable components and services, adhering to engineering best practices. - Support all phases of testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting. - Work independently in an Agile environment, continuously improving development processes. [Required Skills and Experience] - 5+ years full stack development in enterprise environments. - Advanced proficiency: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Apache Kafka. - Strong frontend experience: React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript. - Proven ability to build and support enterprise-scale, customer-facing applications. - Deep understanding of distributed systems and API integrations. - Agile development experience; excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. - Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver results independently. [Preferred Skills] - Retail or eCommerce project experience. - Node.js, GraphQL, React Native familiarity. - Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline exposure. - Background supporting high-traffic production environments.
