- Solid knowledge of modern Java (Java 21/25 preferred) including multithreading, and concurrency.
- Good problem-solving skills and knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- General understanding of distributed systems and backend application design.
- General understanding of database concepts and experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested software.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Git, Docker.

Playtech Open Platform provides a unified network and API for communication with the Playtech infrastructure, enabling client-side implementation by independent developers. It is an adapter between systems, and it can deliver a more accessible and seamless integration between gaming provider services and operator systems.

Our team develops high-performance distributed backend systems and is modernizing its platform by redesigning existing services and building new ones using modern Java & frameworks.
