About The Role Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing web and backend applications supporting a credentialing and case management system for federal service agencies. You will utilize Java/Spring-based REST APIs, modern web technologies, and continuous integration practices to help deliver innovative, reliable customer engagement solutions. The position involves both front-end and back-end development tasks, working closely with an Agile team to ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical software. This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret security clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the projects involved.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen Active Final DoD Secret security clearance 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git
Responsibilities
Develop enterprise applications utilizing Java to meet project requirements Create and maintain web and backend applications and services Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs to facilitate system interoperability Support and enhance credentialing and case management system capabilities Develop front-end functionalities using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap Participate actively in Agile software development activities, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Work within a continuous integration environment to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of software Utilize Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git for coding, testing, and version control Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer engagement solutions tailored for federal agencies
