Java Developer (Labeling Modernization)
Job Description
We are seeking a Java Developer to support the International Labelling Modernization initiative—delivering a next‑generation solution to deploy, install, and monitor digital tags and rails in international stores and enable simple, fast, reliable, and cost‑effective printing solutions (paper and electronic) that comply with market regulations and standards. In this role, you will build and enhance backend services that power store-level label and printing workflows tied to the Price Change mobile application, supporting both Home Office Price Changes (HOPCs) and Store Initiated Price Changes (SIPCs). You will contribute to comprehensive Signs & Labels capabilities across Print Signage, Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs), and the Promotions Platform. Skills and Requirements Strong backend development experience with Java Experience building and maintaining API‑based backend services (REST preferred) Experience supporting UAT, defect resolution, and release readiness in enterprise environments Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver stable fixes Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams (QA, product, store operations) Familiarity with CI/CD practices, code reviews, and agile delivery
