The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud native applications while following modern DevOps and Agile practices. The role requires end to end ownership—from frontend and backend development to cloud deployment and continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Microservices). - Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Python. - Build responsive, user friendly UIs using Angular, React, or similar frameworks. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third party services. - Write clean, efficient, and well documented code following best practices. AWS Cloud Development - Design and deploy applications on AWS using services such as: o EC2, ECS / EKS, Lambda - o S3, RDS, DynamoDB - o API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM - Implement scalable and highly available cloud architectures. - Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation). - Optimize application performance, reliability, and cost. CI/CD & DevOps - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as: o Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline - Automate build, test, and deployment processes. - Integrate unit, integration, and regression testing into pipelines. - Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Identity & Security (Okta Federation) - Integrate applications with Okta for authentication and authorization. - Implement SSO and federation using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC). - Configure Okta integrations with AWS IAM, APIs, and web applications. - Implement role based access control (RBAC) and token based security (JWT). - Manage secrets and credentials using AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store. - Apply secure coding and cloud security best practices. Security & Best Practices - Follow secure coding and cloud security best practices. - Manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store. - Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards. - Apply logging and monitoring for production systems. Collaboration & Agile Delivery - Work closely with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA teams. - Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives. - Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement.
