POSITION OVERVIEW Seeking a Senior Java SRE Tech Lead within the Engineering Department reporting to the Director of Reliability Engineering to ensure optimal scalability and reliability for core transaction systems. This role solves complex availability, observability, and integration challenges for high-throughput enterprise platforms. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain robust API services and integrations using Java while applying strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Build, monitor, and optimize cloud-native architectures across AWS or other public cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage comprehensive observability solutions leveraging ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Dynatrace for proactive system health monitoring.
- Troubleshoot, tune, and manage database interactions and data persistence layers utilizing PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering and infrastructure teams to drive incident management, root cause analysis, and resilient system design.
