What you'll be doing:
- Act as the technical focal point and provide technical leadership to the team.
- Design and evolve cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Ensure alignment between development and architecture from design to production.
- Conduct code reviews and promote clean code, automated testing and engineering best practices.
- Manage technical debt and ensure performance, resilience, security, observability and scalability.
- Contribute to high-availability, active-active and disaster-recovery strategies.
- Mentor engineers and maintain technical documentation.
You'll be a great match if you have;
- Strong Java expertise and solid Spring Boot experience; Spring Cloud is a plus.
- Proven experience with microservices, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with active-active, geo-distributed and highly available systems.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data consistency patterns.
- Solid understanding of API/application security, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong technical leadership, communication and mentoring skills.
