# SENIOR JAVASCRIPT ENGINEER ## About the Role Talent Groups is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to develop and support high-volume, mission-critical web applications. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Next.js, SQL, and cloud technologies, with daily use of AI-assisted development tools. The successful candidate will contribute to technical design and architecture, application development, database optimization, cloud deployment and support, troubleshooting, and Agile Scrum collaboration. The role also includes providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers. ## Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support enterprise web applications.
• Develop applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Design and optimize SQL databases, stored procedures, and queries.
• Participate in technical design and architecture activities.
• Deploy and support applications in cloud environments, with Azure strongly preferred.
• Use AI tools and coding assistants throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot technical, performance, and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

## Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications with Next.js.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, including stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.
• Experience developing multi-tier applications for high-volume systems.
• Experience using AI tools or coding assistants in software development.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within an Agile development team.

## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C#, Java, Python, or other programming languages.
• Advanced infrastructure or infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience using AI agents to automate development tasks and workflows.
• Experience developing AI-assisted engineering workflows.
