Lab Assistant

Position Summary

The B2B Lab Instructor is responsible for independently managing day-to-day operations of assigned business-to-business (B2B) lab activities, ensuring instructional readiness, quality standards, and compliance with industry and institutional requirements. This role exercises discretion and independent judgment in coordinating resources, scheduling, and process improvements to support client and partner training initiatives. The position requires advanced organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively liaise between corporate partners, internal stakeholders, and instructional teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of B2B lab operations to ensure alignment with partner agreements and program objectives.

· Serve as the primary liaison between corporate partners, instructional staff, and the Senior Project Manager, ensuring consistent communication and resolution of operational needs.

· Evaluate and improve lab processes, leveraging professional expertise to recommend and implement changes that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

· Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and quality expectations are met.

· Coordinate procurement and allocation of materials, tools, and equipment for B2B programs, ensuring readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.

· Analyze operational data to assess performance, identify trends, and propose strategic solutions.

· Maintain compliance with all institutional policies, and applicable federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, industrial technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

· 3+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or lab operations, preferably in a technical training or skilled-trades environment.

· Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making in a professional setting.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work is primarily performed in an office and lab setting with occasional travel to partner or vendor sites. May require lifting up to 25 lbs. and standing for extended periods during training sessions.

Bachelor's in education, business administration, industrial technology, or related field; 3+ years in program coordination, project management, or lab operations; strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
