Legal Assistant (Virtual)

Only LATAM-based candidates (bilingual in Spanish and English)We are seeking a dedicated and proficient Virtual Legal Assistant to join our team at MyVA Support. Responsibilities:- Provide crucial administrative support to lawyers, enhancing office productivity.
- Manage communication with clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties.
- Support and attend trials when needed.
- Prepare case briefs, summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimonies.
- Conduct thorough investigations and perform statistical/documentary research.
- Identify and extract case-relevant information.
- Draft and file fundamental legal documents and correspondence.
- Efficiently manage phone calls and redirect as necessary.
- Maintain and update contact lists.
- Monitor essential deadlines and manage multiple calendars.
Requirements
- Minimum English proficiency of C1 level.
- Degree in Law or completion of coursework in Law.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
- At least 1 year of experience in the litigation field.
- Experience in Commercial Law
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, protocols, and the court system.
- Satisfactory knowledge of the daily operations of a legal office.
- Proficient in computer systems and case management software.
- Exceptional organizational and secretarial skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proactive, initiative-driven, and a great team player.
