Serve as a point of contact for escalations, questions, and exceptions, while documenting relevant team conversations and supporting individual development. Oversee the bridge loan pipeline from setup and initial disclosure through submission and post-closing, ensuring work is completed accurately and within established service-level agreements. Balance workloads, coach team members through pipeline challenges, support post-closing reviews, and coordinate the resolution of loan findings. Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Closing, and Lending Operations to deliver timely and accurate service. Compile quarterly team scorecards and monitor key performance indicators and quality metrics. Identify gaps in processes and policies, develop or update standard operating procedures, and support their review, training, implementation, and ongoing adoption. Establish best practices, improve workflows, contribute to operational projects, and provide hands-on support wherever needed. Requirements: At least 10 years of relevant mortgage industry experience, including 5 or more years directly managing a fully remote team. Experience leading mortgage loan processing and/or post-closing teams. Demonstrated success coaching, mentoring, and developing teams while maintaining accountability and strong performance. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence leading virtual meetings and training sessions. Ability to keep a geographically distributed team aligned and engaged using collaboration tools such as Slack and video conferencing platforms. Strong customer-service orientation, with a commitment to delivering accurate, responsive, and high-quality support. Excellent attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy and quality.
