Position Summary As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will work directly with prospective clients to identify their insurance needs, provide expert guidance, and recommend personalized coverage solutions. This is a sales-focused role responsible for converting inbound and outbound opportunities into new business across a variety of personal lines insurance products.
Responsibilities
Consult with prospective customers to assess their insurance needs and coverage goals. Quote, compare, and sell personal lines insurance products, including: Homeowners Insurance Auto Insurance Renters Insurance Condo Insurance Flood Insurance Umbrella Insurance Motorcycle Insurance Recreational Vehicle (RV) Insurance Boat and Watercraft Insurance Other personal insurance products as available Present coverage options and explain policy benefits in a clear and professional manner. Follow up on leads and sales opportunities generated through company marketing efforts. Build strong customer relationships and deliver an exceptional client experience. Meet or exceed individual sales goals, conversion metrics, and performance standards. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within company systems. Stay current on carrier offerings, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required. Previous insurance sales experience preferred. Proven ability to close sales and achieve performance goals. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
