Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent (Remote | Inbound Leads | 1099)
Position Overview As a Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent, you will educate Medicare beneficiaries on their coverage options and guide them through the enrollment process while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client service. Unlike many agencies, our goal is to provide qualified inbound opportunities and ongoing operational support so agents can focus on serving clients instead of spending the majority of their time prospecting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Medicare consultations by phone or video
- Educate clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans
- Complete compliant enrollments
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation
- Follow up with prospects and existing clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Participate in annual renewal and retention activities during AEP
- Work closely with agency leadership to improve client experience
- When appointment availability exists, proactively contact assigned leads within the CRM to schedule additional appointments and maintain a full pipeline

Qualifications
Required:
- Active resident Health Insurance License
- Ability to obtain non-resident licenses as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Professional phone presence
- Reliable internet and home office
- Comfortable using CRM software
Preferred:
- Medicare sales experience
- AHIP certification
- Experience with SunFire or similar quoting platforms
- Previous remote sales experience
Compensation:
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- Commission-based compensation
